Registration for the first ABP Newport Wales Marathon is now officially open, with the first 3,000 entrants being able to take advantage of a discounted early bird entry offer.
Interest in the highly anticipated event which will take place on Sunday 29th April 2018, has already proved popular with close to 10,000 runners already expressing interest in less than 48 hours. The 3,000 Early Bird spaces priced at £45 (Full price £49) are expected to sell out quickly and race organisers are encouraging runners to secure their registration quickly to avoid disappointment.
Speaking ahead of the registration launch Run 4 Wales CEO Matt Newman said “ We have been overwhelmed with the positive reaction the ABP Newport Wales Marathon has received. We were always confident in the demand for premier marathon for Wales, but the feedback throughout Wales and the running community has been phenomenal.”
