Each year, event organisers Run 4 Wales (R4W) donate 100 free places in the half marathon and 10K at the ABP Newport Marathon Festival to people who can use them as a vehicle to improve their health and wellbeing and support them through their journey to the start line, often working with groups and communities typically excluded from running or who face barriers to entry.

Those selected to join the 100 Club receive:
- A free entry into the half marathon or 10K at the ABP Newport Marathon Festival
- A free trial with run coaching app Coopah, which offers instant personalised and adaptable training plans, access to coaches and more.
- A Newport Marathon 100 Club technical t-shirt, to wear on race day and in training.
- An invite to a training event in March, including a talk with a running expert, an opportunity to ask questions and participate in a guided training run.
- Access to a pre-race chill zone ahead of race day group photograph
